Dr. Marcia Nickow, PSY.D., CADC, CGP, Organizational and Senior Clinical Adviser at SunCloud Health, discusses the growth of SunCloud’s Chicago location under the excellent leadership of Hannah Carra, LCSW Chicago Site Director & Therapist and how every therapists at SunCloud Health strives to never stop personally evolving, for themselves and for their patients.
Jeff holds his Master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University and is a Licensed Social Worker. In Jeff’s last position, he was a therapist at Positive Sobriety Institute, with experience working in a community mental health outreach. Jeff specializes in treating a diverse range of individuals with substance abuse and/or other process addictions, anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, trauma, shame/resiliency and PTSD.
Jeff uses a psychodynamic approach integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral and Mindfulness into his approach. He is EMDR trained and uses trauma informed practice with clients.
Jeff works with his clients to address shame, emotional dysregulation and trauma in a safe and welcoming clinical environment. He is committed to helping his clients reach their maximum potential by providing empowerment, support and encouragement.
Emily attended NEIU and Loyola where she earned a bachelors degree as well as a masters degree in social work. Her work with patients, and passion, lies in approaching individuals through a trauma-informed lens and she fully believes in the healing powers of the group process. Emily’s goal is to guide patients in mending emotional wounds that may not have been properly repaired. She has experience in helping those with co-occurring disorders such as substance use, eating disorders, PTSD, mood disorders, and related traumas.

Lauren (pronouns: she,they) is a Chicago native and very excited to join the SunCloud team.
Lauren received her bachelor’s from Northeastern Illinois University with focuses on Addiction Studies, Health Education, and Creative Writing.
She joins SunCloud with over 15 years customer service experience, including training and management, and is excited to finally have her work align with her passions. She is dedicated to creating a space that is welcoming and inclusive for all.
