Seminar: Helping Patients Experience Gratitude and Purpose

Coming Soon! Join us for a CEU Lunch and Learn with our Director of Christian Programming.

Suffering impacts us on all levels, including spiritually.

Whether it’s physical suffering or mental and emotional pain, when we hurt, our attention is drawn inward. When the ability to see outside of ourselves diminishes, we often start to make decisions and engage in behavior choices that are less healthy and less purposeful.

This seminar focuses on using Gratitude as an intervention in helping patients move toward a more outward and purposeful mindset. It explores the research around gratitude and purpose and offers several practical interventions you can use in your practice.

What is Spiritual Support in Recovery?

For those who are looking specifically for Christian spiritual support in their recovery SunCloud Health offers the Eleanor Program.

What happens when people of Christian faith struggle? For many, a season of doubt, fear and questioning ensues. This is especially true for those who suffer from an addiction or an eating disorder, a mental health diagnosis or trauma. In that suffering, people often lose a sense of connection with God. Doubts and fears can be overwhelming.

At SunCloud Health we understand the spiritual impact that these difficulties create. Christian patients are, therefore, welcome to participate in specialized groups and Christian therapy focused on addressing some of those difficult questions and to help them reconnect to God in their recovery.

Patients will have the opportunity to work with a therapist trained in Christian interventions and integrating other evidence-based treatments to provide a holistic experience.
