Teen IOP Program Near Palatine, IL

Your Voice. Your Choice. Our Team.

Support For School, Home, And The Hours Between

For Palatine parents, the hardest part may be knowing whether recent changes call for a full treatment day, several structured sessions each week, or another level of care.

IOP provides structured treatment several times each week while allowing your teen to continue living at home and, when appropriate, remain connected to school and everyday routines. It can be a step up from weekly therapy or a step down from PHP or residential care.

Does My Teen Need More Support?

Your Teen Does Not Need A Perfect Label To Begin

IOP may be considered when a teen needs more therapeutic contact than weekly sessions provide but can remain safe and supported at home between program days. We look at current symptoms, school functioning, family support, and recent treatment history together.

  • Tell us what feels urgent or different right now.
  • Review what your teen has already tried and what helped.
  • Compare the structure of IOP with the support available at home.

Support For Palatine Families Seeking A Clearer Next Step

Our Northbrook center offers adolescent PHP and IOP. Admissions can help your family compare those options with outpatient care, and residential care in Matteson without expecting you to diagnose the right level on your own.

  • Adolescent programming is designed for ages 13-18.
  • Level-of-care recommendations follow a clinical conversation.
  • Family involvement and transition planning are part of the care path.

Treatment Should Match What Your Teen Needs Now

IOP Can Support Both Step-Up And Step-Down Care

A teen may enter IOP after weekly therapy is no longer enough, or use it as a transition after PHP or residential treatment. Our goal is to help the level of support change as your teen becomes more stable.

Outcomes-Informed Care

We Track Change Across The Concerns Teens Bring

Reported adolescent averages moved lower from admission to discharge across depression, anxiety, eating-disorder, and trauma measures. Outcomes are one part of clinical decision-making, not a substitute for individualized assessment.

  • Depression: average PHQ-9 score 11.3 to 7.5.
  • Anxiety: average SCARED score 37 to 31.2.
  • Eating-disorder and trauma measures also moved lower by discharge.
