About CCEBT: Melissa and Annie are both therapists at the Chicago Center for Evidence Based Treatment- a private practice whose focus is on delivering evidence-based treatments to children, adolescents and adults. CCEBT’s team includes experts in the field of eating disorders, anxiety and related disorders.
Melissa Mello, LMFT, is the director of anxiety services at CCEBT and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She specializes in the evidence-based treatment of anxiety disorders, OCD, and eating disorders in children, teens, and young adults. Melissa completed her training at UC San Diego in research, multidisciplinary teams, and an intensive eating disorder program. She has been trained in and utilizes evidence-based treatments such as CBT, ERP, DBT, ACT, and Family Based Treatment for Eating Disorders.
Dr. Annie Schrayer is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at CCEBT. Annie received her BA in psychology from the University of Michigan and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Roosevelt University with a clinical focus in Child and Family Psychology. She has worked at a therapeutic day school and completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the Depression and Anxiety Speciality Clinic of Chicago. Annie has been extensively trained in and utilizes a variety of evidence based treatments in her work with children as young as 5, adolescents, and young adults. She is trained in CBT, ERP, ACT, and Supportive Parenting of Anxious Childhood Emotions
