SunCloud Health is thrilled to be hosting a live panel discussion after “Contact High,” a new musical that takes an unflinching look at heroin addiction and the pain, confusion and stigma that surrounds one young person trying to break free of addiction. The panel discussion will cover substance use awareness and recovery, and support for conquering the stigma of mental health challenges in today’s society. We think that Contact High (the off-Broadway musical) will serve as a creative facilitator for discussion between individuals and families as the show touches on these important themes. The event will be hosted by SunCloud Health’s Shale Marks, LCSW, CADC (read more about Shale) along with other guest panelists (to be announced) and a few members of the show cast.
The show runs one night only, April 20th, Northbrook Theatre, main performance starts at 7:00 pm followed directly by the talk-back panel duscussion at 9:00.
